How to Wash and Care for Your Blanket:

• Wash your blanket alone on a gentle cycle, cold water, low spin, with gentle detergent.
• Do not use fabric softener, as this will destroy the yarn.
• Air dry flat or dry on low heat (unscrew and remove leather tag first to avoid damage).
• How to keep your blanket fluffy: Add a 1/4-1/2 cup of vinegar to the Rinse cycle in place of fabric softener to help keep your blankets soft and fluffy!
• Spot clean small stains with a damp rag and mild soap, let air dry.
• Caution: Blankets are very heavy when wet (especially our larger sizes) and could cause home appliances to be thrown off balance and move -- considering taking your blanket to a laundromat to be washed in a large commercial appliance if you prefer.

Please note that while chenille is quite a durable yarn, any hand knitted item is delicate and has its limits -- be gentle with your blanket and take care of it so it can take care of you for years to come!
